Back in March, we introduced exciting new themes and features shaping the BaseKit platform in 2025 — including one of our biggest updates yet.

Featured product carousel: Customers can add a dynamic carousel to any page, letting shoppers easily browse featured products.
Store login: Shoppers can now create accounts to:
- Save contact details
- Track orders
- View purchase history
Shipping zones: Customers can now simplify logistics by grouping countries into zones with unified shipping rates and details.
Sale pricing made easy: A new ‘Put item on sale’ toggle allows customers to apply discounts in seconds — as a fixed amount or percentage.
Promotional ribbon: Customers can highlight deals, features, or product statuses with eye-catching ribbons applied to any product.

Smarter design tools

AI multi-page generation
Customers will be able to generate polished pages such as Contact, About Us, Gallery, or Testimonials — all filled with AI-generated content, ready to publish.
Precision layout control
Customers will be able to fine-tune every element of their site with our new drag-and-drop layout tools:
- Arrange, crop, scale, and overlap content
- Create dedicated mobile layouts for a better user experience
AI media manager
Customers will be managing media faster with built-in AI that:
- Suggests SEO (ALT tags, titles, and descriptions)
- Imports images from uploads, social media, or template libraries
- Supports SVG icons and logos
- Lets users organise assets with labels
1-Click animation
They’ll be able to add subtle animation effects — like scale, swipe, or fade — to entire pages or individual elements with just one click.
Shape styling
By popular demand, customers will soon be able to:
- Add CSS shapes to sections
- Style them with borders and shadows
- Use them as buttons
AI that helps customers to sell

AI-powered product creation from image
Customers will be able to upload a product image and let AI generate a descriptive product listing — ready to edit and publish.
AI-powered product SEO
With no SEO experience needed, customers will be able to:
- Instantly generate ALT text, meta titles, and meta descriptions
- Preview example SERP listings in seconds before publishing
Seamless payments with Stripe Elements
We’re integrating Stripe Elements, making it easier than ever for your customers to collect secure payments online.
With Stripe Elements, your customers can:
- Accept payments using a fully secure, PCI-compliant form
- Choose from automatically localised payment methods
- Deliver a smoother, faster checkout experience — without handling sensitive card data
