BaseKit 2025 Product Roadmap

2025 BaseKit Product Roadmap

We’re delighted to unveil the themes and features that will shape the BaseKit platform in 2025, including one of our biggest feature releases to date.

Among exciting plans that will transform our onboarding process, this year’s roadmap is defined by two exciting new themes for small businesses:

  • Store and sales – improving e-commerce design and performance.
  • Media movement – bringing effortless shapes, icons and motion to life.

As always these features have been designed with the small business customer in mind, to help our partners quickly and easily inspire and grow their customer base with BaseKit.

Helping customers get started faster with NEW AI onboarding

As applied AI continues to evolve, we’re taking care to ensure our roadmap adheres to the genuine value it can provide to small businesses with minimum environmental impact.

In one of our biggest feature releases so far, and now what has become the expected choice for website onboarding, we’ll be launching new BaseKit AI onboarding. Thousands more images and hundreds more categories will seamlessly help customers find the perfect starting point for their online business presence.

In a matter of seconds, new customers will be able to create an attractive, professional website, completely customised to their business. They simply describe their business in a few words, before AI will match their business to a category template and generate text and select template imagery for their website homepage.

Website template images will also be refreshed by BaseKit every three months, to improve the chances of all customers receiving the best content website match for their business.

Store and Sales

Helping customers sell with AI product creation and SEO

Customers will gain invaluable time savings using AI to create product titles and descriptions from product images.

In an instant, customers can use AI to generate descriptive product text directly from any product image uploaded into their store, which they can then modify manually if they wish.

BaseKit Roadmap AI image SEO

AI powered product SEO will be a game changer for small businesses struggling with understanding and manually adding SEO to their sites.

Customers will be able to let AI suggest ALT attribute, title and meta descriptions for images and products, and preview their SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) to view how their customers can find them, in a matter of seconds.
