What is involved in integrating BaseKit with existing telco ecosystems?
Using our versatile API and plugins for popular hosting control panels, telcos can seamlessly connect BaseKit to existing platforms, automate user provisioning and billing, and roll out branded digital business solutions to small business customers.
Our localisation capabilities and robust support also allow telcos to offer these services across diverse markets without needing to develop new software themselves.
By combining BaseKit’s website and e-commerce capabilities with existing telco business services, brands can launch omnichannel solutions via enriched bundles, giving small businesses integrated connectivity, website creation, and digital commerce with unified support and customer experience.
The integration process also includes marketing resources, end-to-end onboarding, and dedicated account management, ensuring a successful launch and ongoing growth.
How does BaseKit support digital adoption for small business customers?
BaseKit provides an AI-powered, mobile-first website builder and e-commerce platform designed for ease of use, automation, and scalability.
Automated onboarding, drag-and-drop editing, multilingual support, and integrated bookings and e-commerce enable business owners with no technical skills to quickly establish an effective online presence and drive growth.
Integration with platforms such as Zapier streamlines workflows and ensures consistent branding, sales, and communications across multiple channels, while real-time data and performance metrics help businesses gauge their results and improve customer experience.
Growth insights play a major role in BaseKit’s platform by providing actionable analytics that show which features drive engagement, sales, and retention.
Partners benefit from ongoing usage trend data, such as acquisition, retention, custom product activation and best practices informed by customer success stories. This data-driven approach continuously evolves the product suite – making digital adoption faster, more rewarding, and aligned with the actual needs of small businesses.
What impact has BaseKit made for telco partners and their small business customers?
BaseKit has helped telco partners around the world to transform into digital service providers by offering simple, mobile-first website and e-commerce tools as white-label solutions.
These partnerships have enabled telcos to add value for their customers, boost customer retention, and increase revenue, with partners such as Telefónica reporting a 42% drop in churn rate among small business customers.
For small business customers, BaseKit provides an easy way to get online, sell products, and manage bookings, all bundled through their trusted telco. The platform is accessible, intuitive, and supports multiple languages, allowing time-poor entrepreneurs to launch and run their businesses digitally with minimal effort and maximum support.
Can BaseKit solutions be bundled with existing telco offerings?
Yes, BaseKit solutions can be bundled seamlessly with existing telco offerings as white-label products. Telcos can integrate BaseKit’s website, e-commerce, and booking tools into their small business bundles or offer them as standalone value-added services, all branded as their own.
This flexible approach allows telcos to create customised subscription packages, combining connectivity with digital productivity tools, boosting customer retention and average revenue per user while helping small business customers thrive online.
What customer support and training does BaseKit provide to telco partners?
BaseKit provides telco partners with comprehensive support and training, including a structured onboarding process led by dedicated project and account managers who help with technical integration, go-to-market strategies, and ongoing product optimisation.
Partners receive full product support and sales enablement training through a series of concise online courses, access to our comprehensive knowledge base, packed with interactive video tutorials and support articles, and ongoing marketing insights and sales enablement assets to engage customer success.
BaseKit delivers dedicated second line support backed by experienced 24/7 operational back up. We also release new features and updates to the platform every two weeks in line with our annual product roadmap.
This ensures telcos have both the technical guidance and business support needed to succeed, while also enabling them to deliver a responsive customer service experience and keep up to date with the latest features.
Does your platform AI handle sensitive customer data, and if so, how?
As a B Corp, we have a policy of only introducing AI features where we truly believe they will add value to our customers and we only share the bare minimum of data with the AI platforms we use. Currently we integrate with OpenAI to achieve the following AI powered features in the platform.
AI site generation during onboarding
The only data shared with OpenAI is the 2 pieces of data entered by the customer during onboarding (their brand/company name and a short paragraph describing their business) and the customer’s language. No other data, or PII data, is shared.
Ecommerce product description writer
This feature suggests improved copy for the description of an existing ecommerce product in the customer’s store. The only data shared with OpenAI is the selected length and tone, from set drop down options, the text they want to improve, which defaults to the product’s original copy, and the customer’s language. No other data, or PII data, is shared.
Website copy writer
This feature suggests improved copy for text within the customer’s website. The only data shared with OpenAI is the selected tone of voice, from set drop down options, the copy they want to improve, which defaults to the text they selected on their website, and the customer’s language. No other data, or PII data, is shared.
